You don't need a diagnosis, a referral or any previous therapy
People join Healing Relationships because they want to:
- stop repeating a pattern in relationships they can see but can't seem to change
- set boundaries without the guilt, or without going nuclear
- understand what consent really means outside the bedroom: in friendships, families and at work
- say what they want, and hear what someone else wants, without it becoming a fight
- understand why they react the way they do, and where it started
- feel less alone with all of it
Each month we take one theme and look at it properly: two live sessions of teaching from me, a worksheet to work through in your own time, and the chance to ask questions in the Zoom chat. You decide how much, if anything, you share. Many people simply listen, and that's fine.
This is psychoeducation: structured learning about yourself and your relationships. It isn't group therapy and it isn't a substitute for individual therapy or crisis support, and I'll say so if I think someone would be better served elsewhere.

Themes we explore
A different theme each month. These are the kinds of things we cover; the order can change, and members hear what's coming up next by email.
Where yours come from, why you override them, and how guilt, fear and the people you love get in the way of holding them.
Consent beyond the bedroom: emotional boundaries, pressure, and the right to change your mind.
How you speak to yourself, meet your own needs and build something steadier on the inside.
Closeness, conflict, distance, people-pleasing, pursuing and withdrawing, and the relationships you keep choosing.
Behaviour that looks self-defeating but started life as a way of keeping you safe.
Unmet needs, old fears and why early experiences can still take over in adult life.
What you learned about yourself, other people and the world, and how it still shapes your relationships.
What happens when you need connection, fear rejection, pull away or hold on too tightly.
Fight, flight, freeze and fawn, and how they shape communication, intimacy and conflict.
Why putting everyone else first can feel safer than saying what you need.
Noticing what you need, tolerating having needs, and asking without feeling like a burden.
What happens in a row, and how healthier relationships make room for disagreement and coming back together.
How trust is built, what damages it, and how to notice evidence that challenges old expectations.
Where shame comes from, and how to meet yourself with curiosity rather than criticism.
The beliefs and strategies that take over when losing connection feels like a threat.
Why being known and loved can feel frightening even when a relationship is safe.
Questions people ask before joining
Will I have to talk about personal things in front of strangers?
No. These are teaching sessions, not an open process group. You can keep your camera off, and if you want to ask something you can type it into the Zoom chat. Nobody is asked to speak.
Are the sessions recorded? Will I be on the recording?
Only I am on the recording, along with any slides. Members' faces, names and chat messages aren't captured. The recording is a private, view-only link that works for two weeks after the session, so you can catch up if you can't make it live.
Can I join part-way through?
Yes. Each month stands on its own, so you can join at any point without having missed anything you need.
When am I charged?
You pay £65 when you join and then £65 a month on the same date. If you join before the first session on 6 January, your first payment covers January and your membership then renews on 6 February and monthly after that.
How do I cancel?
Whenever you like, from the manage my membership page. You stay a member until the end of the month you've paid for, then no further payments are taken. There are no refunds for part months, and you can rejoin any time.
Is this therapy?
It's psychoeducation: structured teaching, with reflection and exercises, that helps you understand yourself and your relationships. It isn't individual or group therapy, and it isn't a substitute for therapy or crisis support. If I think you'd be better served by something else, I'll say so.
I've never had therapy. Is that a problem?
No. Most members haven't. You don't need any experience or any particular vocabulary.
What if I miss a session?
Watch the catch-up recording within two weeks, and the worksheet will still land in your inbox. Membership is monthly, so there's no refund for missed sessions.
